Wheely good times for GoBus.ie

It's been a bus-y week for the team at GoBus.ie who added another accolade to their trophy cabinet. The Galway-based service was awarded Coach Operator of the Year for 2020 - Intercity at the Fleet Bus and Coach Awards. GoBus.ie, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, is owned by Jim Burke and operates in collaboration with Barry’s Coaches of the Glen on Leeside.

The company provides scheduled non-stop services between Cork, Dublin and Dublin Airport and Galway, Dublin and Dublin Airport, and earlier this year, set up its first regional connect route between Ballina, Castlebar, Claremorris, Tuam and Galway city.

Mr Burke has said that he is delighted to have won the award: “The entire GoBus.ie team work extremely hard on making sure our passengers have the most comfortable and convenient trip possible. We update our fleet every year so when travelling GoBus.ie, a passenger can be assured of every modern convenience whether they want to work or relax while on board.”
