Christmas is for giving

'Tis the season of giving and the teams at Specsavers Opera Lane and Mahon Point have proved just that! Both stores collected 45 boxes full of essential items for adults and children. The boxes are in aid of Homeless Help and Support, Cork which will be given to those in need throughout Cork.

Store director at Specsavers Opera Lane and Mahon Point, John Morrin said: “We at Specsavers Opera Lane and Mahon Point are proud to have supported the shoebox appeal for Homeless Help and Support, Cork this year. It’s important to consider those in need in our community, especially at Christmas.”

Homeless Help and Support Cork was established to provide emotional and counselling supports to individuals at risk of/or in a situation of homelessness as well as provide direct support to individuals sleeping rough in Cork city or county.
