Cllr Christopher O'Sullivan

Cllr Christopher O'Sullivan, Mayor of Cork tells us about his 2020 plans and looks back at 2019.

Main goals for 2020?

I feel this is my time to have a go off getting elected to Dáil Éireann. That’s my main ambition.

Predictions for Cork for 2020?

This is more of a desire than a prediction but I hope that we will finally see some much needed social housing delivered in the county. So far as mayor, I have had several contract signings for social housing projects across the county. By the end of 2020 many of them will be built and hopefully allocated.

There is a housing crisis and we need to start making a severe dent in the housing waiting list.

Most looking forward to in 2020?

The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival. The best festival on the planet.

Was 2019 a good year for you?
