A paw-fect gift

A fundraising campaign felt a whole lot of wuff after raising thousands for a dog charity. Maxi Zoo's annual Friendship Connects, Give Paw campaign raised €38,252 for its 2019 charity partner, Dogs Trust. The campaign, which ran from October 2019 to January, saw Maxi Zoo sell limited edition Give Paw bracelets for €2.50 each across 20 stores nationwide. 100 per cent of the proceeds went to Dogs Trust.

The funds will be used to provide all of the dogs in the Dogs Trust rehoming centre with resources such as food, dog treats and interactive toys.

Louise Sherwin, Philanthropy and Corporate Fundraising at Dogs Trust said: “We are thrilled with the amount that Maxi Zoo’s Give Paw campaign has raised for the dogs and puppies in our Rehoming Centre. Maxi Zoo shares our passion for giving our dogs the very best care we can, and their efforts, and those of their customers, will go a long way towards ensuring that the dogs in our care are as happy and comfortable as possible. On behalf of all our furry friends here in Dogs Trust, I extend our sincerest thanks to all those who supported this amazing Maxi Zoo campaign.”
