Giddy up for charity Cheltenham preview

It's just under three weeks to go until one of the biggest dates in the racing calendar. Cheltenham 2020 kicks-off on 10 March and to set the tone ahead of the festival, a Cheltenham preview night will take place in Larry Tompkin's Sporting Pub on Lavitt's Quay.

The panel will be spearheaded by jockey Bryan Cooper, who won the 2016 Cheltenham Gold Cup on Don Cossack. Bryan will ride the well-fancied Grade One wining novice hurdler Latest Exhibition at this year's Cheltenham Festival. Tony Mullins, who trained Pedrobob to win the County Hurdle at the festival, brings a huge insight into the Willie Mullins team. Youghal bookmaker Johnny Dineen will bring in-depth information to the table and is regarded as one of the shrewdest punters in the game!

Regular racegoer and broadcaster Joe Seward of Sporting Life will be MC on the night and trainer Enda Bolger and Un De Sceaux owner Colm O'Çonnell will also be present to give an update on their hopes for Cheltenham 2020.

The event is in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital with a €10 entry charge which includes a €5 free bet.

Ladbrokes are sponsors on the night and will have price toppers for the festival for the crowd, along with a terrific raffle, spot-prizes and plenty of race-related craic. Finger food will be served also with some surprise guests will be in attendance.

The preview night takes place on 27 February at 7.30pm and tickets will be available on the door.
