Snow way you won't love Austria!

I recently had the pleasure of going on a skiing holiday to Austria.

My holiday planning began months in advance, when I contacted travel operators Topflight by phone, who then helpfully provided me with advice in terms of the best destinations for my skill level as a skier and convenience in terms of flights from Cork Airport.

Once I decided on the best destination for me - which was the Soll Ski Resort in Austria - the company provided me with a suitable package which included the flights, accommodation, ski pass, skis and ski boot rental and transfers to and from the airport at a very reasonable price.

The customer care begins from the moment you first make contact and continues until you land back in Cork once your holiday is over. Every few weeks after booking, I received an informative email from the Topflight staff about my trip.

Everything at the resort had already been pre-booked, so when I arrived in Austria I picked up my gear and was skiing down the nearest slope within a few minutes. The Topflight team had representatives on site at the resort who were in touch to see how well my holiday was going.

I had a great experience at the Soll Ski Resort, with easy access to the slopes from the town itself. The slopes on the Soll side of the mountain are suitable for all types of skiers/snowboarders, from beginners to experts venturing down the black slopes.

The town itself has plenty bars and restaurants to choose from, and should you tire of the slopes, there is regular buses to the other resorts also. All in all, I had a wonderful and stress-free ski trip thanks to the excellent customer care from Topflight.

On a side note, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Aspire Airport Lounge at Cork Airport before my flight. The lounge offers you a relaxing environment away from the hustle and bustle that comes with all airports, and for a set entrance fee, you can wine and dine at the lounge before boarding your flight!
