Cork-based pop duo Kudos who have released an online track inspired by the Covid-19 restrictions.

Kudos to the sisters!

Pop duo Kudos have released an online track after they were inspired while talking to friends and family.

Entitled ‘Until We Meet Again’, the song was released recently on the Cork-based group’s social media channels and the duo said that the response to the upbeat catchy song has been amazing.

The girls have been adhering to current Covid-19 Government guidelines and said the inspiration for the song came when they were talking to family and friends and planning for the future - when we will all meet again.

In the song, Kudos sing about looking forward to meeting family again without Zoom calls, meeting outside when the current Government restrictions are lifted and dreaming of getting their nails, lashes and fake tan done, returning to their hobbies and interest in sports and outdoor pursuits.

Sisters Sophie and Laura of Kudos said: “People have been really enjoying this track and have been telling us what they are looking forward to, when this is over.

“Almost everyone can relate to the sentiment and references in the song. As music lovers and performers, we long to attend gigs with our friends and start performing again ourselves.”

The music video shows some of their happiest memories along with calls to friends and family they have been unable to meet in person due to the current travel restrictions.

The video also features Kudos enjoying celebrations with their local club, Russell Rovers, following the East Cork side’s recent successes on the pitch.

The girls hope their song reminds people that we have brighter days to look forward to, when we will we are reunited with family, friends and everything we enjoy in life.
