A new educational initiative offering resources to students and teachers has been launched by the Crawford Art Gallery.

The new ‘Schools Series’ is run by the gallery’s Educate & Explore team and highlights resources for learners and educators from pre-school years right up to Leaving Cert.

Students and teachers can expect a wide range of materials including a virtual tour, virtual exhibitions, a gallery visit video, stop-start ‘How To’ videos, drawing aids, teachers resource packs, and much more.

The series also features exam-focused resources with expert tips for the Leaving and Junior Certificates.

The series kicks off with resources for Leaving Cert students offering a host of creative targeted materials to help students get exam ready.

Emma Klemencic, programme leader for Learn & Explore said: “We know that our young people are the future makers, thinkers and cultural caretakers.”

Emma added: “We also see how difficult this year is for young people, emotionally, socially and academically, as well as for the adults supporting them.”

“At Crawford Art Gallery we want to actively support young people and families,” she concluded.
