Montfort to welcome back students
Students are about to dance their way back to the Montfort College of Performing Arts.
The college is set to reopen on 22 September following the Government's latest announcement. Despite the college being closed for nearly 17 months, registration is now open for the forthcoming term with things looking hugely exciting for the year ahead, the college has said.
An incredible programme of singing, dance, musical theatre and drama awaits, with a star-studded team of teachers ready to bring the children on a journey of artistic discovery and personal growth.
Procedures in line with Government guidelines surrounding Covid-19 have been carefully considered and implemented in order to ensure the protection of students and staff alike at the college.
The Montfort College of Performing Arts has covered all bases making sure that the young citizens of Cork have the very best of experiences in this long-standing institution.
Director of the College, Trevor Ryan, spoke of the dedication to his students and the school: “I and my incredible teaching team have had the most difficult period in our professional careers, but we just kept thinking of our students.
“We all did our part, we closed the school, and followed all the guidelines, but now is the time to welcome our talented students back to us. I can’t wait to see them come through our doors again, meet with their teachers and friends and rediscover their passion for their craft.”
Having offered exceptional training to budding actors, dancers and singers of Cork for nearly 60 years, The Montfort College of Performing Arts said it has has always considered the wellbeing of students as their first priority.
