Adam King from East Cork is this year’s Cork Science Festival Ambassador.

Adam is festival ambassador

King of hugs and space enthusiast Adam King has showed his support for some live science shows happening this weekend.

Adam is this year’s Ambassador for the Cork Science Festival which got underway last weekend and runs until this Sunday 14 November throughout Cork. The festival is a blend of virtual and in person events with online workshops, talks, lab tours, build at home kits and an extensive schools programme.

Adam this week showed his excitement about the live science shows which are set to take place at Cork’s Marina Market.

Limited spaces remain for public events taking place this weekend at the Marina Market where thrilling live science shows will be popular with families.

Hosted by Scientific Sue, ‘The Science of Bubbles’ will take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 13 November while 'The Science of Dragons' inspired by the Cressida Cowel’s ‘How to Train your Dragon’ books will take place at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm on Sunday 14 November. Booking is essential for these shows to avoid disappointment and can be done online at corksciencefestival.ie under the Public Events menu option.
