Prints for both kids and adults

Now, I don’t have kids except for my fur daughter Blanche but if I did, you know I would be all about making them wear matching clothes with me.

I’m quite surprised I haven’t gotten a matching outfit for Blanche to be quite honest. I do say every Christmas I’m going to get us matching outfits but this hasn’t come to pass so far. Maybe this year will be our year.

I recently came across the most gorgeous family-run business called Superstar Sweaters which was created by Michelle who is the proud mam of her two little superstars Charlie and Sophia.

As Michelle said: “I love matching my kids or having them matching each other but I found the options limited. I have always loved having a super soft, good quality sweatshirt and so the idea of Superstar Sweaters came about.

“I wanted the prints to be suitable for adults and children and I wanted the colours to be fun and bright,” she added.

The collection is made up of fantastic quality sweatshirts in pastel shades of pink, green and blue featuring a lovely selection of prints. From stars to animal print and polka dot there’s a print and colour option for everyone.

For the hoodie fans, cream and lilac options have been added to the mix with an embroidered star motif and the most cosy fleece lining. You are a superstar is also embroidered in gold on the inner neck label which makes a lovely touch.

This would make such a lovely gift for someone who has just had a baby. A cosy sweatshirt for mom and baby and matching, what more do you want!

These vibrant, super-soft organic cotton sweaters (and now hoodies) send a message of positivity encouraging anyone that wears them to embrace their inner superstar.

Michelle named this business after her daughter Sophia who has gone through more than most of us ever will.

She has always referred to Sophia as her superstar as she was born a little fighter, her left hand never developed in utero.

At two years and ten months old, Sophia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

Her strength and determination were apparent from a very young age. She is nearly at the end of her treatment now thank goodness.

As well as supporting a fantastic Irish business when you buy one of Michelle’s designs, you will also be supporting a fantastic cause with five per cent of the sales of the sweaters going to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, an amazing charity that supports families that receive the devastating diagnosis of childhood cancer.

Sizes range from babies, kids and adults so everyone can match.
