Say ‘I do’ in Kerry

Located in the heart of Kerry, this hotel has been helping newlyweds celebrate their special day for over 60 years.

Owned and run by 3 generations of the McGillicuddy family, Ballygarry Estate Hotel and Spa has loads to offer couples as they say I do.

In the past 12 months, Ballygarry Estate has opened the doors to The Lodge at Ballygarry, an on-site all-encompassing ceremony venue with a focus on destination weddings. The lodge is modelled on a New England-style barn and is perfect for hosting a civil, spiritualist or humanist ceremony.

Situated within 180 acres of land, the simplistic and rustic standalone building boasts a large gable window, featuring a backdrop of the Kerry Mountains and a loft conversion for musicians, or additional guests, overlooking the main gallery. The lodge brings all the benefits of an outdoor wedding ceremony and transfers them indoors, making it the perfect location for an unforgettable destination wedding.

Those who choose Ballygarry Estate Hotel and Spa, as their wedding venue, can get married in The Lodge, toast with their guests in The Pavilion and dine in style in the Monarch suite. As a unique treat for their couples, Ballygarry Estate have refurbished a 1975 Volkswagen Split Screen Van aka ‘Splitty’. The Ballygarry Splitty awaits the newlyweds and their bridal party outside of the Lodge and carts them around the estate, capturing magical photos featuring the natural beauty of the wildflower meadows, towering trees and picturesque Kerry Mountains all in the background.

The hotel offers the complete package for newlyweds and their guests. Visitors are treated to a variety of delectable restaurants, breath-taking mature gardens, and a tranquil experience in the blissful Nadúr Spa.

Ballygarry Estate is an idyllic destination and one that will make your wedding dreams come true. See Ballygarry.com for more.
