A special temporary extension of the Bus Éireann 208 route will bring people to Cork Summer Show.

Getting there is no fuss by taking the bus!

The Cork Summer Show takes place this weekend and promises to a weekend full of fun and entertainment for the whole family, including loads of great music.

Getting there couldn’t be easier and there’s free entry to the show for all kids under 12!

Cork Summer Show 2023 is fully connected by public transport, thanks to a special temporary extension of the Bus Éireann 208 route.

The service runs to a dedicated stop, conveniently located within the new Cork Show Grounds.

As soon as the bus pulls up, your trip to the Summer Show begins.

The 208 service is part of Bus Éireann’s Cork city network and can be accessed at stops all along its route, which begins at Ashmount and serves:

Old Youghal Road, St Luke’s Cross, Parnell Place, St Patrick’s Street, Western Road (UCC), Wilton, Bishopstown, Curraheen and for the weekend of the 17th and 18th June terminates at the Cork Summer Show. Special services will run from 7am until 7pm.

For visitors to Cork city, the Parnell Place Stop connects the 208 with Bus Éireann Expressway and regional services and is also located only a short walk from Cork’s Kent Railway Station.

Leap Card, Monthly/Annual Tickets, Free Travel Passes and Cash Fares are all accepted on board, with Leap Card fares offering great value, starting from as little as 65 cents for children and young adult card holders (under 24), travelling from the city centre.

The Cork Summer Show is located within the Cork City ‘Red Zone’ for annual or monthly ticket holders.
