The Danes are coming to Ballincollig this month

Cork is set to get its third JYSK this month when the Danish home retailer opens its latest store in Ballincollig on Thursday 17 August at 10am.

JYSK’s 22nd store in Ireland will open at Unit 4, Innishmore Lawn, Ballincollig and there’s plenty to attract shoppers.

In celebration of the grand opening, Ballincollig customers will get to enjoy up to 70% off hundreds of products for the duration of the opening week. There will also be additional great offers online and in all stores nationwide in Ireland.

JYSK is an international chain of stores with Scandinavian roots that sells everything for the home who are renowned for quality, on trend products for the home, from the bedroom to the garden.

JYSK continues its commitment to bringing new stores to Ireland, with plans to open another 10 in the next 12 months.

The Danish retailer’s next goal is to open 5,000 stores worldwide.

This year, the Danes are planning to focus on bolstering their existing store portfolio across the UK and Ireland and provide customers with improved, refurbished stores with plans to bring all stores up to date with the 3.0 model by 2025 to ensure they’re providing the very best shopping environment for their product and

customer.

JYSK has seen record results in the UK & Ireland during the financial year 2021/2022, increasing its turnover 11% despite challenging trading conditions.

The company’s steady growth is owed to its continued focus on home and garden improvements coupled with store expansion and investment over the last year.
