The courses will appeal to a variety of learners, from professional development to personal enrichment, covering an array of relevant courses and topical subjects.

ACE reaches students in all contexts and levels, including introductory programmes for people engaging in university education for the first time, in practically all disciplines, through all kinds of qualifications up to masters level.

“We are thrilled to unveil our exceptional line-up of programmes for 2023,” said Dr Séamus O’Tuama, Director of ACE at UCC.

“At ACE, we believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit, whether you are continuing education for professional development, or whether you choose to enter higher education for the first time, our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and personal growth.”

Past and present students include Timmy Long of the ‘Two Norries’ podcast, who is currently enrolled in the Masters in Mindfulness Based Wellbeing, and Cork hurler Conor Lehane who recently completed a Masters in Personal and Management Coaching.

The programmes include flexible scheduling options designed to accommodate busy lifestyles and courses are offered through blended delivery including both online and in-person with the goal of making it easier for busy adults to pursue their educational aspirations without disrupting their work or personal commitments.

In addition to its full programme of accredited courses, ACE is also offering a series of short courses including a six week course in beekeeping, a ten week course in creative writing, and an eight week course in wine studies.
