Enjoy the jazz at the heart of the festival

The Metropole Hotel has always been the centre of the Cork Jazz Festival, and it boasts a packed schedule for this year’s extravaganza.

The original home of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival has lots planned for the 45th year of the festival. The hotel will once again play host to a top range of diverse artists and music on several stages throughout the festival weekend at its famous Jazz Festival Club. The festival will run from Friday 27 October to Monday 30 October.

Jazz Festival Club tickets for the Metropole Hotel are available from €37.80 plus fees and a limited number of tickets are still available for Friday and Sunday evenings, with access from 7pm until 2.30pm. A weekend pass is also available for €100 plus fee.

Dining options are available in the hotel during the day while jazz fans can also enjoy an afternoon of live music free of charge across the weekend.

Roger Russell, General Manager at The Metropole Hotel said: “The Metropole is truly the heart and soul of the jazz festival with it all starting here. We have four nights of jam packed jazz entertainment at the hotel. We cannot wait to welcome people to the hotel over the jazz weekend. Fans of swing, funk, groove and blues will be well catered for, with an exciting mix of Irish and international acts at our Festival Club.”
