The Marquee will move to its new site for at least 3 years.

Live at the Marquee is back and it's not moving far!

Live at the Marquee is set to return to Leeside in 2024, albeit in a different venue.

Celebrating its 19th year, the festival will take place over 19 nights in May and June at the former Ted Castle Oil site on Centre Park Road.

This is a third move for the Marquee, which was originally situated in the Showgrounds. It later moved to its current location, and the new site will be its home for at least the next three years, according to promoter Peter Aiken.

“We are moving just across the road to a bigger site, right beside where the Marquee is,” he said.

Aiken said that it took more time than initially anticipated to find the new site, but thanked Cork City Council for their help.

“It took a long time, it took a bit longer than I thought but we got there in the end,” he continued.

He also confirmed that ticket prices for the acts will not increase, remaining the same as last year.

For fans of Irish music, there will be plenty to look forward to, with The Coronas kicking of the festivities on 24 May , followed by Gavin James who performs on 25 May.

If a night of hardcore partying is your bag, Bingo Loco will take place on 1June. One Day presents blk will play on 7 June, followed by the soulful tunes of Dublin singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey on 8 June.

The stage will come alive when Jenny Greene and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra grace the stage on 14 June, followed by the legendary Christy Moore on 15 June.

The musical journey continues with Cork's own Mick Flannery and Clare's Susan O’Neill taking the spotlight on 21 June, and on 22 June there will be the much-anticipated return of the Biggest Disco.

The diverse range of artists promises an entertaining series of performances for gig-goers.

There are further acts to be announced in February, with Peter Aiken saying that one or two “will surprise everybody”.

Tickets will go on sale next week, and will be available from Ticketmaster.ie.
