The Rubicon Centre, one of Ireland’s most successful on campus incubators is looking for entrepreneurs to join its community in Bishopstown either in person or online.

This is ideally suited to those are in need of some help in accelerating their start up ideas, or simply want to develop their existing start-ups even further in 2024, no matter how old the business is.

Currently 33 companies are based in the Rubicon community with many more using Rubicon supports virtually from right across the Cork region. Each year 400+ entrepreneurs contact the Rubicon for support.

Paul Healy, General Manager at the Rubicon Centre said: “The Rubicon team has created a warm atmosphere for those interested in developing their business no matter how small using the supports including mentoring, training, access to finance and ready to go offices.

“Since opening, the Rubicon team has helped entrepreneurs to start, accelerate and grow their business no matter where they are located in the region,” he said.

“At the Rubicon Centre, we encourage people of all ages and backgrounds with ideas to take some time out to explore their ideas in a safe environment. It is an ideal environment to get plugged in to the many resources that are available not only in Munster Technological University, but also the Cork region eco-system. At Christmas and New Year, people will be looking at things they want to do in 2024, and start up entrepreneurship, or the developing further of a well-established business may be on the agenda.”

There’s a number of different supports for people at all stages of their entrepreneurial journey, from the New Frontiers Programmes, EXXCEL Female entrepreneurship or Rio-Innovate to scale your company.
