Set the trend for the future

Ever been browsing paint colours and think, where on earth do they get these crazy names from? I could do better than that! Well, now’s your chance.

Irish paint manufacturer Fleetwood has just launched its new Trend Setters campaign asking the public to have its say on a colour and its name to be added to the company’s permanent range.

The campaign is spearheaded by well-known Irish interior designers Alison Dunne, Sinead Cassidy, Aodhain Scallan and Patricia Wakely who have each selected a colour for consideration.

Now it’s up to the public to vote on which colour they like most, as well as submitting suggestions for the colour’s name.

With prizes of colour consultations, vouchers, and free paint to be won, Fleetwood is inviting individuals from Cork and across Ireland to take part. The overall winner will receive an exclusive consultation with the winning colour designer.

Speaking about the campaign, Derek Byrne, Marketing Manager at Fleetwood, said: “By giving our customers the opportunity to select both the colour and its name, we're opening the door for creativity and individual expression which will reflect the diverse tastes and preferences of Irish homeowners and interior-enthusiasts.”

The campaign follows a survey conducted by Fleetwood via Opinions.ie which found that over 8 in 10 (81%) would consider repainting a room in their home if they thought it would improve their mood.

The winning colour and its accompanying name will be revealed at the Ideal Home Show on the 26 April at the RDS. The winner will receive an in-home colour consultation with the winning designer, with runners up to receive interior design consultation slots, in-store vouchers, and free paint.
