Dovida currently provides person-centred home care services to 8,000 people across Ireland. Historically, the majority of the organisation’s client base consisted of people in the over-65 age group. However, Dovida now cares for clients of all ages, with 10 per cent under 65, while children under 18 make up one per cent of people cared for.

Dovida’s services have adapted to the varied needs of its clients, and the company now provides services to support people living with an acquired brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Motor Neurone Disease, as well as helping children and young adults with additional needs.

Dovida believe in delivering person-centred home care that empowers clients to live life their way in the comfort of their own home. They do this by recognising that no two people are the same and shape our care to best match our clients’ and caregivers’ interests, values, and personalities. Their person-centred approach extends to Dovida employees. Empowering you to achieve your career goals is just as important as their mission to empower every one of their clients to live fuller, more independent lives at home. Dovida invest in their team’s success through comprehensive training and development opportunities. From initial orientation to ongoing professional development, they provide the support you need to build a fulfilling career in home care.

Benefits of joining

They offer competitive pay, access to training, courses and clear career pathways for professional growth, flexible schedules that fit your lifestyle, with options for various shift patterns, a supportive team environment and the reward of making a real difference in people’s lives.

Dovida caregivers provide essential support to ageing adults and people living with disabilities in their own homes. While some clients need help around the house once a week, others require daily support. Some clients need temporary help after surgery, or respite care to give their loved ones some rest, while others use our services on an ongoing basis.

The company welcomes applications from people from all walks of life.
