Campaign features a host of Irish talent
Ireland Fashion Week has unveiled its landmark campaign shoot bringing together leading voices from fashion, music, sport, modelling, beauty, and culture to celebrate Irish creativity in its purest form, ahead of the inaugural festivities this October.
The campaign brought together a star-studded cast of Irish talent across culture and creativity across screen, stage, sport, music and modelling.
Leading the line-up was Carlos O’Connell of Fontaines D.C., chart-topping band defining Irish music on a global stage, Rhasidat Adeleke, record breaking Olympic athlete, Thalia Heffernan, Ireland’s leading supermodel, alongside stars of stage and screen, Clinton Liberty, acclaimed actor and star of ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘Normal People’, and Zara Devlin, multi-award nominated actress and leading star of Ann.
Together, they represent the richness and diversity of Ireland’s creative generation.
The looks featured in the shoot were pulled from designers showcasing at the inaugural Ireland Fashion Week, including Paul Costelloe, Rashhiiid, Bold Golf, Triona, Magee 1866, Louis Copeland, Jack Murphy and By Grace Leonard Design, with footwear supplied by Vision Ireland.
Ireland Fashion Week’s shoot was a love letter to Irish identity, uniting generations of creativity under one campaign. The appearance of the majestic Irish wolfhounds for both location shots played further homage to Ireland’s deep-rooted heritage and mythology.
When speaking about the campaign, Ashley McDonnell, Founder of Ireland Fashion Week said: “For the inaugural Ireland Fashion Week, as an organisation we’re incredibly proud to bring five of the country’s brightest talents together from the worlds of fashion, film, music and sport.
“All dressed in Irish design and shot by the country’s leading photographers, we wanted to set the tone for what will be a week that celebrates the entire fashion ecosystem: fashion unites. Producing the inaugural Ireland Fashion Week campaign with a crew of over 30 incredible creatives is a testament to the decades of creative development across the island.”
Powered by Visa, Ireland Fashion Week will take place from 6-10 October.
