Win a fantastic house in picturesque Cobh!
Do you fancy winning a great house in the birthplace of Sonia O’Sullivan, Fiona Shaw and Jack Doyle?
Well, one lucky winner will win a 3-bed house in Cork’s celebrated harbour town or a €320,000 cash alternative if they wish!
Cobh GAA has put up a brand new three bedroom house, overseen by well-known architect Hugh Wallace, just minutes from the centre of the town. Speaking about the fundraiser, Cobh GAA Club Chairman Colm Cotter said: “We’ve been thinking about ways we could have a big fundraiser for a number of years now. When someone suggested we raffle off a home here in Cobh, considering it’s one of the most popular destinations in the country, we thought it was a great idea.
“People have a fondness for Cobh for lots of reasons – the scenery, the harbour, the bars and restaurants and the history. Whoever wins the house will be extremely lucky as the house,” he added.
Every cent raised will go directly towards improving the club’s infrastructure, creating better spaces for training and matches, and ensuring that the club van continue to grow and thrive for decades to come. This is more than just a raffle – it’s a chance to support local sport, youth development and community pride, according to organisers.
Tickets for the draw, which will be held on Tuesday 28 October, cost €50 for one, €80 for two and €100 for three tickets. They can be purchased on winahouseincobh.com.
