New skintuitive products

Skincare in 2026 is less about complicated routines and more about intelligent formulation.

‘Skintuitive’ is the new benchmark: products designed to work in harmony with the skin’s natural rhythms, barrier biology and regeneration cycles. From collagen-supporting day creams to biotech-driven ampoules and makeup-artist-approved prep, the latest launches prove that high performance and simplicity can coexist.

Leading the charge is Ayu Cosmetics, founded by internationally renowned makeup artist Suzie O’Neill. After years of meticulous development, Ayu Skin introduces Lumére Firmé Day Cream (€55) and La Crème Cellulaire Nuit Cream (€68), a synergistic 24 hour system built on a clear philosophy: glowing, healthy skin does not need to be complicated; it needs to be effective.

In a consumer study of 90 participants, 100% said their skin felt more hydrated after using Lumére Firmé Day Cream, 94% reported a firmer or more lifted feel, 97% felt more hydrated by morning after using La Crème Cellulaire Nuit, and 94% said they would switch from their current night cream. The day cream functions as a collagen-supporting defender, blending peptides, kombucha ferment, hyaluronic acid and CoQ10 to promote elasticity and lasting hydration. Antioxidants including vitamins A, C and E, carrot extract, sunflower oil and macadamia oil provide environmental defence, while shea butter maintains suppleness, creating a smooth, radiant base for makeup or confident bare skin.

By night, La Crème Cellulaire Nuit shifts the focus to repair. Its lamellar-phase structure is activated by warming between the fingertips before pressing into the skin, enhancing absorption of its botanical complex, which includes oat-derived soothing agents, kangaroo paw flower, alpine rose, pumpkin seed, calendula, prickly pear, sweet almond and vitamin C. The result is strengthened barrier function, softened signs of ageing and visibly replenished skin by morning.

Advanced regeneration is further exemplified by Genosys and its Bio-meso Homecare PDRN Ampoule 5000, now available in Ireland.

Developed in South Korea, a global leader in aesthetic skincare innovation, this next-generation ampoule combines 5,000 ppm marine sponge spicules with PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), a regenerative compound derived from salmon DNA widely used in Korean dermatology for its reparative properties.

The bio-meso delivery technology enhances penetration without needles or clinical downtime, supporting improvements in tone, texture, elasticity and barrier strength. Designed to complement professional Bio-Meso PDRN treatments now offered in Irish clinics, the homecare ampoule enables ongoing regeneration between appointments, offering a sophisticated, clinic-inspired approach to ageing, sun-damaged or uneven skin. It’s €57.50.

Completing the skintuitive trio is the new Hydro Glaze Milky Essence (€23.90) from Skin Studio, a product that bridges the gap between skincare and makeup preparation. Developed with professional makeup artists, this lightweight, fragrance-free essence is formulated to soothe, hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier while creating the ultimate canvas for foundation. Oat lipid E calms and rebalances stressed skin, squalane delivers weightless cushioning hydration, low-weight hyaluronic acid floods the skin to visibly smooth dehydration lines, and allantoin enhances luminosity.

The milky texture absorbs quickly, leaving plump, radiant skin that grips makeup beautifully and maintains freshness throughout the day. Suitable for dry, oily and combination skin types, it can be pressed into the face and neck after cleansing, layered under foundation or applied at night to replenish and restore.

What connects these launches is not trend but intention. Each respects the skin barrier, supports collagen intelligently and delivers measurable, clinically aligned results without unnecessary complexity.
