This is the season of reset

There’s something about spring that makes everything feel lighter; not just the days, but our mood, our routines, and how we want to show up.

After months of heavier textures, richer scents and survival-mode skin, this is the season of reset. Not a dramatic overhaul, but a soft, considered refresh. Think brighter, cleaner, more effortless.

Fragrance is always my starting point, and if ever there was a scent that bottled that first hint of sunshine, it’s the Beach Blossom collection from Jo Malone London. It’s the kind of fragrance that transports you instantly to warm air, salt on skin, that dreamy, just-back-from-holiday glow.

But what I love most is how wearable it is. Coconut water gives it that soft, almost sheer sweetness, while lime and mint keep it feeling crisp and alive. There’s a subtle warmth from tonka bean that lingers, but never overwhelms. It’s not trying too hard, and that’s exactly the point. It’s fresh, it’s chic, and it feels like you.

Spring is also when I start thinking about hair in a more holistic way, and that begins at the scalp. We’ve all been guilty of focusing on lengths and ends, but real results start at the root. Dyson’s Amino scalp care is one of those products that feels quietly revolutionary.

The texture alone - a foam that melts into a serum is a dream to use, but it’s the results that make it worthwhile. It hydrates, balances oil and supports the scalp barrier in a way that actually translates to healthier-looking hair. Less flaking, less heaviness, more volume where you want it. It’s that clean, just-washed feeling without needing to over-wash, and for spring, that’s exactly the energy.

Skin-wise, this is where we gently dial things back into balance. If winter was about protection, spring is about refinement. Exfoliation doesn’t have to mean aggressive. The PHA Renewal Pads from NeoStrata are a perfect example of that.

They’re effective, but incredibly gentle ideal if your skin is even slightly sensitive or prone to redness.

Using polyhydroxy acids, they lift away dullness and smooth texture without disrupting your skin barrier, which is key this time of year. You’re left with skin that looks clearer, fresher, and more even, but still feels like skin. Not stripped, not stressed just healthy. For me, spring beauty is all about that subtle polish. It’s the glow that doesn’t look forced, the hair that feels light and effortless, the scent that lingers just enough to be noticed. It’s about choosing products that work with you, not against you.

Because ultimately, this season isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about feeling refreshed, rebalanced, and ready to step into brighter days with confidence and maybe a little glow to match.
