‘Out of Order’ in Coachford

A wayward politician, his poor assistant, a dead body, a dangerous window with a life of its own, a young female secretary, her angry husband, daft hotel staff and unexpected visitors. These are the makings for a truly hilarious comedy.

Coachford Players will perform ‘Out of Order’ by Ray Cooney, from Saturday 7 to Tuesday 10 December in the Coachford GAA Hall at 8pm.

“This is a terrific show and one that will really set you up to enjoy the festive season ahead. It really is a great comedy and there is so much going on that it makes for fantastic fun. We are expecting great crowds as usual for our December play,” said chairman of the group, Willie Barrett.

Coachford Players are one of the longest running drama groups in Cork. The group of actors have performed plays and musicals all over the country, and have been in existence for over 30 years, winning many awards. They have performed plays from John B. Keane, William Shakespeare, Brian Friel, Martin McDonagh, Dermot Bolger and Anton Chekov.

Tickets for 'Out of Order' are €15, and available at the door of the GAA Hall in Coachford. There are concessions for OAPs, students and the unwaged.
