'This programme will help so many people'

Cork, it’s time to get colouring and brighten up the place.

Dulux Ireland recently announced details of its Let’s Colour Project which is on a mission to colour every corner of Ireland including Cork. Dulux Ireland wants to connect with the ‘doers’ in Cork, the people in life who get things done to the benefit of their community, people who may have projects locally, which are much in need of a colourful makeover.

The Dulux Let’s Colour Project was born in 2011 and ran for three years, delivering much needed paint to hundreds of projects. The project which has opened again will run for a full three years and carries a broad remit on the type of spaces that can be helped, whether they be GAA clubs, meeting halls, national charities in need of help, men’s or ladies sheds, all projects will be considered.

Roisin Bermingham, Dulux Let’s Colour Project Lead, said: “This programme will help so many people in every county, uplifting everyday spaces using the power of colour making them a lot more fun, liveable and enjoyable. We want to hear from the doers who make things happen! That’s anyone who believes they can make an impact or change to the benefit of all, so spread the word! The good news is that we are open to considering all types of projects that will positively impact Cork.”

The first wave of projects will be announced in early August, so colourful transformations can begin over the summer. People who are interested in making positive change, can simply enter their project’s details by 21 July on Dulux.ie.
