Network Ireland Cork and CUBS to host Nuala Walsh
One of the most influential women in finance will appear at an exclusive event in UCC next Wednesday.
Network Ireland Cork, in collaboration with Cork University Business School (CUBS) at UCC,will host Nuala Walsh — non-executive director, former FTSE-100 chief marketing officer, award-winning author and Adjunct Professor of Behavioural Science at Trinity College Dublin.
Named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Finance, Nuala has built an extraordinary 30 year global investment career spanning BlackRock, Merrill Lynch and Standard Life Aberdeen. Today, she is CEO of MindEquity Consulting, advising Fortune 500 firms, global sports bodies, and human rights organisations on strategy, reputation, culture, and behaviour change. She also coaches senior leaders at Uber, Asics, Aer Lingus, the BBC, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Her award-winning book ‘TUNE IN: How to Make Smarter Decisions in a Noisy World', and her TEDx talks have inspired audiences worldwide. With over 100 published articles in Forbes, Inc., Management Today and Psychology Today, her work has been featured in The Financial Times, The Economist, CNBC, Fox Business, and Harvard Business Review.
Drawing on her extensive experience in behavioural science, commercial leadership and ethical decision-making, Nuala’s talk will explore how leaders and professionals can sharpen their decision-making, avoid judgement traps, and achieve smarter success in today’s complex world.
