Say bonjour to Paris
The spotlight was shining on Irish design at the recent Paris Fashion Week.
Tech Powered Luxury, the chart-topping fashion and technology podcast, was holding that spotlight as it hosted designers, founders and personalities in founder Ashley McDonnell’s adoptive home for an event during Paris Fashion Week at the Embassy of Ireland on Avenue Foch.
‘Live From Paris Fashion Week’ is an annual celebration of Ireland’s extraordinary contributions to the global luxury landscape, from fashion to beauty, bespoke design to jewellery—all powered by cutting-edge technology. This year marks a significant milestone for Irish fashion designers.
Curated by the team behind Ireland Fashion Week, and with support from Enterprise Ireland the event includes both a fashion showcase as well as a runway show produced by Anne O’Shea and Jess Colivet, featuring five Irish designers - Aoife McNamara, Heintz, Irelands Eye, Triona, and Roisin Linnane with pieces from jewellery designer Chupi and accessory designer Maya Grisham on display.
The event included a conversation with Irish fashion illustrator Rachelle Cunningham, deep diving into her illustrious career alongside a DJ set from Volleyball before closing out with a live performance by singer Morgana, within the beautiful setting of the Embassy of Ireland. The evening brought together expression and culture on a global stage in the lead up to Paris Fashion Week.
Alongside the array of celebrated founders and industry trailblazers including key players across an array of global luxury brands, over 200 guests joined on the night to celebrate the Emerald Isle.
