Students showcase their success and talent at annual Christmas market

The Student Enterprise Programme’s annual Christmas Market, hosted by the Local Enterprise Office Cork City, will take place on 11 December at the Marina Market from 10am to 2pm.

It brings together student-run businesses from across city schools to showcase and sell their innovative products.

The Christmas Fair is a highlight of the year for participating students, offering them the opportunity to experience the full journey of entrepreneurship - from product development and branding to marketing and customer engagement.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of unique, handmade and thoughtfully designed gifts including handmade gifts, crafts, tasty treats, eco-friendly items, personalised goods and more.

Dr Niall O'Keeffe Head of the Local Enterprise Office Cork City said: “The event is a fantastic celebration of the students’ hard work and creativity.

“It gives them invaluable real-world experience whilst also bringing the schools and local community together.”

There will be festive entertainment, unique, affordable gifts perfect for Christmas shopping and an opportunity to support young entrepreneurs and local creativity.

The Christmas Fair is open from 10am and people are encouraged to attend, shop local and show their support for budding young entrepreneurs.

Join them at the Marina Market for a festive day of fun, creativity and community spirit - whilst supporting the innovators of tomorrow!
