Dublin-based garage punk group Sprints will pop up in Cork in May.

Dublin group to sprint to Cork for pop-up show

Following their already sold-out Dublin show on 1 May, Irish garage punk outfit Sprints will travel to Cork for a special late-night performance on the same day.

Taking place at Cyprus Avenue in Cork city, the show will extend the energy of the Dublin event into the early hours, marking the first Heineken Greenlight moment to land in Cork.

Kicking things off on the night, local Cork group Baby Rat will take to the stage as the support act ahead of Sprints.

Heineken Greenlight is a new music platform set to take over bank holiday weekends throughout a number of Irish cities across the year.

Moving beyond the main stage and into the heart of Ireland’s local venues, the platform is built around a simple idea: creating ‘pinch me’ city gig experiences that fill bank holidays with live music across the year, bringing fans closer than ever to their favourite acts.

Doors for Sprints’ show at Cyprus Avenue in Cork city on 1 May will open 11.30pm.
