St Patrick's St is changing!

Two bus stops outside Brown Thomas on St Patrick’s Street are to be temporarily suspended from next Monday 15 June, as Cork City Council progresses its St Patrick’s Street Pilot Scheme, which aims to improve aspects of the street.

The areas around the suspended stops will be used for the installation of seating and planters for bushes and trees.

The routes affected will use stops slightly further up the street.

The 207, 208, and 209/A will use Stop 240491 outside the former Debenhams Store.

The 203, 205, 213, 214, and 215 will use Stop 241721 a few yards to the north, closer to Merchant’s Quay shopping centre.

Signs will be erected to advise passengers of the changes.

The pilot scheme will run for 12 months until 14 June 2027.

A number of taxi stands have also been suspended to facilitate the project.
