Circus Vegas is back in Cork!

One of Ireland’s biggest circuses is back near Cork city centre for its annual return bringing a truly spectacular show.

The Courtney Family’s Circus Vegas is back at the Centre Park Road Marquee site with its big top, with shows taking place until 20 September.

This year’s production is an exciting mix of world-class circus thrills, comedy, aerial artistry, daredevil stunts and international talent, with performers travelling from across the globe to entertain Irish audiences.

One of the highlights of the circus is new clown, Lupino, who brings his unique Chilean charm and personality to the big top featuring plenty of laughs, audience interaction and traditional circus comedy.

For adrenaline lovers, the show features Ireland’s only professional FMX stunt rider, Evan Mullarkey from Co. Mayo, who will take to the air on his motocross bike, performing breathtaking stunts high above the circus ring. Evan will be joined by his riding partner Jonatan from Brazil, as the pair push the limits of what can be achieved on two wheels.

Brazilian performer Kathleen also takes centre stage as Ireland’s only female Globe of Death rider, tackling one of the circus world’s most daring attractions alongside riders Camilo and Juan.

High above the audience, Nilton will leave spectators looking skyward as he performs his incredible Skywalk, dangling from the very top of the big top by his feet - with no safety devices - in a breathtaking display of strength, balance and courage. The production also features three professional showgirls, Katie, Louise and Maria, whose dancing weaves throughout the performance, helping to tell the story and create a spectacular transition from one act to the next.

Argentinian cousins Jose and Brian will defy gravity on the legendary Wheel of Death, performing at incredible heights and speeds in one of the circus’s most thrilling acts.

Audiences can also enjoy the elegant aerial skills of Ukrainian aerialist Valeriia, while Angelina Garcia will showcase her incredible talent with a spectacular hula hoop presentation.

And for the little ones, some much-loved cartoon characters will be making a special appearance, adding an extra sprinkle of magic and excitement to the Circus Vegas experience!

Holding the production together will be family member Olivia, who takes on the role of ringmistress, introducing each act and guiding audiences through this journey of entertainment.
