The tan with millions of fans

Wednesday, 8th May, 2019 4:42pm

With the summer sun hopefully heading to Ireland soon for its holidays, it's time to give our pasty skin an uplift! he-shi, Ireland’s first tan brand, is celebrating 15 years in business after launching in 2004, and it has a large range of products to ensure the perfect glow.

he-shi was created by two Irish women, mother and daughter team Hilary and Shelley, who wanted to deliver a safe sunless professional alternative to tanning at home. Best known for the liquid tan, which is one of the best tanning products around, a point proven by the fact that, to-date, enough tan has been sold to tan five million bodies!

Luckily for us, there is now a complete range that gives stunning results whatever your skin type or application preference. For fair-skinned babes in particular, the 'so good it could be real' formulas are a god-send!

600 bottles of he-shi tan are sold every day, from mousses to moisturising gels to anti-aging face balm, and the range has something for everyone.

All he-shi tans are, and always have been, cruelty free and vegan friendly and it is also paraben and alcohol-free. Some of our favourites include:

he-shi Express Liquid Tan (€26.25), he-shi Gold or Dark Foaming Mousse (€32.50), he-shi Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan (€29.50) and he-shi Overnight Ageless Tanning Balm (€28.00).

he-shi is best applied with a good mitt, such as the he-shi Luxury Velvet Tanning (€7.50) which is double-sided while the he-shi Exfoliating Gloves (€5.25) leave your skin feeling silky, soft and smooth. he-shi is available from selected pharmacies across Cork.
