A natural approach to skincare

Yon-Ka Paris is a brand that I have had a love affair with for many years. Aromatic and effective, the brand has a full range of products for face and body for both women and men.

Yon-Ka products contain the highest quality ingredients with ‘quintessence’ at the core. It is all about sustainability and products are vegan or vegetarian friendly. This is a signature blend of results-driven essential oils that allows them to provide an aromatic experience while creating measurable changes within the skin.

Yon-Ka also remains at the forefront of research, delivering top-quality innovative and clinically proven ingredients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, peptides, immortality herbs and hyaluronic acid. I must admit to having a few favourites, though.

One of my frequently repurchased items from the range is the Phyto Eye Contour, an invigorating yet hydrating cream that is effective particularly with dark circles and puffiness. Price wise it’s €37 so not too expensive and you only need the smallest amount.

My second product for winter is the Hydra + Serum (€49). This super-hydrating solution diminishes rough spots and the feeling of tautness including that discomfort or tautness after a shower. It’s superb on dull skin lacking radiance and those pesky dehydration lines.

Once the skin is softened and comforted, it quickly recovers its natural glow. I also recommend adding some to your favourite face mask for an extra shot of hydration.

For the ultimate relaxation experience, try the Relax Gommage Sugar Scrub and Oil. This scrub, with white and brown sugar enhanced with sunflower oil, gently exfoliates and nourishes the skin. It melts onto the skin and changes into a milk upon contact with water. It doesn’t leave any residue but is fragrantly beautiful. The oil is the ultimate bedtime treat for anyone that is looking for hydrated skin, but it passes the skinny jeans test too.

This means that you can slip your denims on straight away as it’s a dry oil spray that is easily absorbed. I got a sneak peek of the gift set, which includes both, along with a stunning vanity case. The smell in the bathroom after using any of the bath products is just sublime.

I discovered Sana Naturals earlier this year. It's natural eco-friendly skincare infused with the healing forces of mother nature. This simple yet luxurious skincare collection was born out of passion and respect for nature, offering highly concentrated botanical potions so you can have healthy glowing skin with less effort and fewer products in your skincare routine. If you love simplicity you will adore Sana.

Sana Naturals’ 3-in-1 face mask, exfoliator and cleanser (€24.95) is so handy for travel and for your bathroom. This water activated lightweight powder serves as a daily cleanser, gentle exfoliator and a mask all in one, to lift away impurities, ease congestion, enhance skin clarity and balance your skin tone, while soothing and calming your complexion. It offers soothing comfort for all skin types including problematic skin that is congested, sensitive, inflamed, prone to breakouts, or irritated.

Eminence is an award-winning brand that combines science and nature and is loved by celebrities (and me!) Anyone that is following my Instagram page will have seen me rave about it.

For acne prone skin, brand Eminence has the solution with its Acne Advanced Clarifying mask (€69).

This two-in-one mask and spot treatment utilises potent anti-acne ingredients to treat active acne and prevent future breakouts. Three types of purifying clay combine to absorb oil and reduce shine, while basil oil helps ensure your skin looks calm and less irritated. Use it to treat your entire face and neck or as a spot treatment to restore clarity to your complexion.

If you are considering a more natural approach to skincare these brands will give you results and are all eco-friendly, too!
