The family of missing Cork man Pat ‘Patsy' O'Keeffe have issued a renewed attempt for information after he was reportedly sighted near Dungarvan.

The family of a man who was missing from Carrigaline have confirmed he has been located safe and well.

64 year old Pat ‘Patsy’ O’Keeffe, who had been missing from his home since Friday 21 June, has been found by his family after a successful search effort.

On social media, Mr O'Keeffe's family thanked those who had helped spread the word and helped to locate him, and asked for privacy now that he had returned home.

Meanwhile, the funeral of another man, also from Carrigaline, is set to take place on Friday. The body of Andrew Willis was recovered from the Owenabue River on Monday night, a week after he went missing near the Coolmore area on 17 June.

Gardaí, Crosshaven Coast Guard and volunteers searched for him for six days as concerns grew following his disappearance. His funeral takes place at 2pm on Friday 28 June in St Mary’s Church of Ireland, Carrigaline.
