See Cork’s best online this Friday

A charity music event will run this Friday featuring some great Cork artists.

The Make Some Noise event has had to go online this year due to Covid–19 restrictions.

The line-up features Myles Gaffney, The Lost Gecko, and Dots Tobin. The aim of the event is to signpost to people that maybe in crisis to reach out and come forward and use the services and supports that are available. Funds raised will go to the Shine a Light Suicide and Mental Health Awareness Group.

Organisers say it has been pared back a little because of social distancing, but they are confident it will be a good night’s entertainment.

On Friday 24 July at 7pm it will be streamed online live from Myo Café on the Make Some Noise Facebook page and other social media platforms.

The event will last 1 hour and 15 minutes with music and information about services and a few guests will pop in and say hello on the night.

Organisers would like to stress that this event is online only and not a concert, so there will be no access to the public to Myo Café.

The event is proudly supported by community organisation Unity Media Network who will be broadcasting and producing the event with thanks to Brian O’Sullivan and Alan Gould for making this event happen.
