Get it finished with virtual home show

DIY projects and renovations are certainly on our minds again as we navigate through another lockdown.

As we try to get used to living in the new normal again and working from home, our attention inevitably turns to our living spaces and how to make them as comfortable, functional and liveable in as we can in the circumstances.

Whether it’s inspiration you need or free expert advice to help you get your home renovation, refurbishment or refresh started or indeed finished, this event is a must.

The FINISHED.ie Virtual HomeShow will showcase the greats of Irish homeware with virtual stands where you can chat face to face virtually with a representative, take a live tour of a showroom, walk through a brochure or sample book, organise a private consultation, or order a product in real time.

There will also be an Irish crafts area for those who want to do some Christmas shopping and support Irish.

The brainchild of former banker Jennifer Walsh, a serial renovator, who recently completed her fifth ‘doer upper’, FINISHED.ie makes it easier for time-poor homemakers to create their ideal space.

Jennifer said: “The FINISHED.ie Virtual Home Show will also champion green at this tough time and encourage people to buy from Irish businesses. It’s a new way to speak to customers, show catalogues, take orders and sell virtually. Now more than ever, we are getting queries on new builds, with people undertaking renovations and extensions.

“Lots of people are spending on their home this year and top of the lists are well functioning home office spaces, advice for planning open spaces better, new carpet and flooring, also high end items from sofa upgrades to hot tubs!”

There will also be a centre stage which will be hosted by broadcaster and interiors lover Lorraine Keane, where interviews will take place with a who’s who of highly accomplished industry professionals.

Sponsored by Energia, the show is free to register and attend and runs online from 11am-4pm on Saturday 21 November.
