Family fun at Leahy's Open Farm

Calling all animal lovers!

Leahy’s Open Farm is inviting one and all to come and celebrate its 25th year of business this summer.

There is something for everyone on this family-run farm in East Cork, from the Old Cottage that tells tales of years gone by, to the JCB Mini Diggers where both kids and adults can have a ball hooking, digging, and scooping!

You can also enjoy a delicious handmade ice cream from the Ice Cream & Chocolate Factory while you wander around the farm.

On your way, why not get a little lost at the popular Mystery Maze? Or maybe take a ride on the Quad & Barrel Train through the woods.

Let’s not forget everybody’s favourite attraction though – the animals! You can get up close to feed the goats and sheep in the petting shed, pet a guinea pig and maybe even hold a mouse!

Before heading home, grab a bite to eat in the Old Lantern Coffee Shop, filled with delicious food and home baked treats.

Due to Covid-19, the farm must be prebooked online at leahysopenfarm.ie.

Situated just 20 minutes from Midleton and 25 from Fermoy, Leahy’s Open Farm is open seven days a week from 10am-6pm and entry to the farm is €11.50 per person with children under two years old going free.
