Celebrate in style

Primark, who operate Penneys, and ILGA World, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association have partnered for a third year on a limited edition collection, Feeling Proud.

The 36 piece collection of clothes and accessories caters for all ages and is designed to celebrate inclusivity and diversity.

Starting at €3 per item, highlights include a fully sequined harlequin print rainbow slip dress, kimono and hot pants, an embellished disco ball denim jacket and an emoji print resort shirt and matching shorts, and not forgetting some canine chic – there’s a dog coat as well.

ILGA World have advocated for equal human rights of people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identities and expressions, and sex characteristics for over 40 years now. Through the partnership, Primark will donate €170,000 to ILGA World in support of their work for LGBTIQ rights.

The donation will help conduct research which aims to compel governments to repeal discriminatory legislation, develop ways for LGBTIQ communities to collectively advance equality worldwide and continue to provide direct support and resources for more than 1,700 organisations from over 160 countries and territories campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex human rights.
