A new pub hub has been launched

A new ad-free website offering detailed information and curated pub trails around Cork city has been launched.

Corkpubtrails.ie offers visitors to the website a valuable resource in choosing the best night out to suit their taste.

The site features in-depth information on all pubs in the city centre as well as a series of curated trails based on themes like cocktails and craft beer.

The website also features a ‘discovery’ option which allows visitors to filter bars and pubs in the city based on several criteria.

These criteria include outdoor seating, food served, live music, cocktails, live sports, late bar, and big screen.

The website also features a detailed map showing the precise location of every pub listed.

The man behind the site is James Buckley.

He said he developed the resource as a side-project while also adding that he does not generate any revenue from it for the time being.

He explained: “Cork is a very walkable city with lots of pedestrianisation, a flat city centre, plenty of bridges, public transport options and not too much distance to cover.”

He added: “The city centre contains well over 100 different bars, with something for everyone. The best advice we can give is to get out and see as much as you can!”
