Support charities and small businesses

One of Cork’s most popular places to visit will be hosting not just one but four markets in the run up to Christmas.

The team at Nano Nagle Place said it was delighted to host the four markets this year as it asked the public to come and support local charities and small businesses by doing your Christmas shopping in the gorgeous surroundings of the most Christmassy place in Cork, Nano Nagle Place.

On Saturday 27 November, Cork City Book Fair Returns. After an enforced absence of more than twelve months, the City Book Fair is back in town. Dealers from throughout the country will have on a wide selection of books on offer like antiquarian, out-of-print, local, Irish, and general interest as well as some coins too. There is something for everybody and something for you!

On Sunday 5 December, you can support local charities and community groups by coming to the Community Market. Nano Nagle’s own Lantern and Cork Migrant Centre will be there, selling crochet, knitting, textiles and more.

On Sunday 12 December, it’s all about sustainability and food, with lots of natural products including Christmas wreaths, candles, chocolates cookies, and more. Make sure to arrive hungry so you can enjoy the hog roast!
