Glen Rovers’ bingo is back! It will resume on Saturday 5 February and will be on every Monday and Saturday at 8pm.

Following the lifting of restrictions, full capacity is now allowed in the hall and no social distancing is required. Patrons will be required to wear masks for entry and while walking around the hall but these may be removed while seated and playing bingo.

There will be a return to full prize money. Glen Rovers is one of Cork’s longest running bingos.

A spokesperson for the bingo committee said: “We are looking forward to welcoming all our patrons and friends in a safe environment, it has been a very long time since we all met and now the time has come to welcome everybody back. We were back for a short time when restrictions were lifted a little bit but now the time has come for us to get back to normality and we are really looking froward to seeing everybody on Saturday in Glen Rovers for what we hope will be a great night’s bingo. So hopefully we will see you all on there.”
