Gavin James is just one of a huge list of big names set to perform in Cork Opera House this spring and summer.

Opera House springs to life

There’s been a burst of excitement on Leeside as Cork Opera House announces its much anticipated spring/summer programme.

The star-studded programme includes names like comedian Milton Jones, comedy group Foil Arms & Hog, and global music sensation Gavin James to name just a few.

The new programme follows a successful panto season that saw Cork audiences return in their thousands to the famous venue, and a February line-up to die for. And February’s not over yet, with Irish music legend Mary Black set to perform tonight (Thursday) and The Royal Moscow Ballet’s Swan Lake set for this Sunday.

Cork Opera House CEO, Eibhlín Gleeson said: “It's so good to be back to full capacity with our calendar filling up very quickly as artists are eager to get back to their audiences here in Cork. Being able to finally plan with more certainty is such a relief. Patrons will be happy to know that this includes many of the postponed shows they have so patiently been waiting to see.”

Other names set to perform at Cork Opera House between now and the end of summer include Tommy Fleming, Blindboy, The Carpenters, Aslan, Keith Barry, and Imelda May.
