Regatta to open Cork warehouse
Popular outdoor apparel retailer Regatta is set to create 100 new job opportunities with the opening of a new distribution centre this summer and the opening of its 29th retail store.
The 170,000 square foot warehouse will open this summer in Ringaskiddy and will be The Regatta Group’s third warehouse in Europe, with a fourth in the United States.
Meanwhile new stores will open in Galway, Limerick and Dublin later this year, bringing the number of Irish stores to 34 and total headcount above 300.
Regatta Great Outdoors is hosting two recruitment events in Cork on 11, 12 and 13 April and 3, 4 and 5 May in the Carrigaline Court Hotel for positions, which include warehouse operatives, team leaders, supervisors, stock controllers, despatch/admin operatives, health and safety officer and facilities colleagues.
Regatta is also recruiting for a HR officer and an account manager to join the head office team, also based in Cork.
Offering the latest in outdoor essentials, Regatta Great Outdoors was launched in Ireland by Managing Director Brian Fox in 2001 from his garden shed.
