Stage is set for summer at the Opera House

A stellar line up is to grace the stage of the Opera House this summer with a jam packed programme recently announced

Cork Opera House made its first full-season announcement since its re-opening with a variety sure to please and delight Cork audiences and beyond.

Featuring a host of familiar favourites in music, comedy and family entertainment, the summer programme also includes some exciting new work produced by the Opera House.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Eibhlín Gleeson said: "We are so excited to announce this programme which has been 2 years in the making. We are relieved and honoured to be in a position to bring you a selection of the finest arts and entertainment you'll see in the city this summer!” Some programme highlights include Paul Howard’s smash hit, ‘Copper Face Jacks’ and Irish country sensation Nathan Carter.

The Cork Opera House will also host a variety of other performances, operas and plays this summer that cannot be missed.

Much to everyone’s delight, the Opera House also announced ‘Sleeping Beauty’ as their 2022 Christmas Panto, with tickets due to go on sale to the public on 1 July.
