Aveda
Aveda has 3 stellar products for sun protection and even has hair after sun.
Its Sun Care Protective Hair Veil (€28.50, 100ml) is a lightweight, water-resistant UV defence mist that forms an invisible screen to help protect hair from sun exposure for up to 16 hours, to minimise colour fading, damage and dryness. It is lovely to use while sitting by the pool and will definitely offer you protection from fade and scorching. It smells so nice and isn’t too heavy. Aveda’s Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser (€25.50, 250ml) is a colour-safe formula with corn-derived chelator that will gently remove chlorine, salt and product residue. Tamanu oil and organic coconut oil help maintain moisture balance. It also has green tea, certified organic sunflower oil and vitamin E. For all hair types, it will remove grease and grime from your hair and body and is suitable for the whole family.
Aveda After Sun Treatment Masque (€32, 125ml) is an intensive cream masque that restores sun-exposed hair, moisturises, and helps defend against free radicals. It’s an after-sun formula with morikue protein and also has tamanu oil and certified organic coconut oil that moisturise sun-exposed hair. I found this left my hair feeling healthy even post-holiday so I didn’t waste any. It’s for all hair types.
