Another season and another hotly anticipated drop from Cork-based label Oh Molly, which is the creation of Love Cherish boutique owner Maeve Dennehy.
Season 3 features gorgeous autumnal tones and fabrics to ensure each piece can be mixed and matched easily. This season is the biggest to date and offers a variety of cosy casuals to some more glam pieces.
Its versatility and comfort is true to the brand, and it will make dressing easier with clothes you will feel confident wearing. The subtle detailing and signature prints of Oh Molly are seen throughout the collection.
In September of last year, the Oh Molly label was born. At the time, creator Maeve Dennehy wanted to bring the comfort factor that we had all grown to love in lockdown, into everyday dressing so it could be effortless and fun for women on the go.
Little did she know the response it was going to receive. Women of all shapes and sizes embraced the ethos of the label – ‘Comfort is no longer a choice. It's a necessity!’.
Some of my favourite pieces are the elevated leisure wear looks like jogger pants and zip up tops delivered in luxe yet comfortable fabrics and rich berry tones that combine to create perfect AW outfits. I also love the signature suiting that can be seen in each collection and the burnt orange tone of this seasons suit is the perfect piece to mix and match with neutral joggers and hoodies just to give another option in how you wear this wardrobe essential.
Another aspect of this brand that I love is the commitment to being more sustainable as a fashion brand. Oh Molly is also very proud to be encouraging sustainability within the brand, by setting up a Facebook group for its customers, where they resell, reshare and reuse their beloved Oh Molly pieces.
The collection is made up of pieces that can be mixed and matched to deliver a ‘put-together’ look without compromising the comfort factor. It’s dressing for when you don’t have time to think about what to wear and just want an effortless outfit that you know looks good and all the pieces work so well together and work with a lot of pieces from the previous collections that you can easily create a super functional and stylish capsule wardrobe.
