Gifts from your kids

Winter wedding season is here, and the couple are not the only ones who need to think ahead.

If you have received the honour of an invitation to a friend’s wedding for not only you, but for your kids too, it’s time to start thinking gifts!

Wedding gifts are hard enough to think of when they are from you and possibly your significant other, but if your children have been invited to the wedding, a gift from them would be hugely appreciated by brides and grooms.

So where do we start?

- If your kids are lucky enough to be included in a photo with the bride and groom on the day, have your kids choose their favourite and let them pick a funky frame for it, or even let them decorate their own. This will capture a lovely moment for the couple that might not be in the main wedding photos.

- Depending on the age of your children, something fun for them could be to decorate personalised mugs with Mr & Mrs already printed on. A fun painting activity becomes a colourful and fun gift for the happy couple.

- Sticking with the home-decorated theme and with Christmas coming up, a handmade Christmas tree ornament could be sweet for couple to use for their first Christmas as a married couple.

- Or you could try a different take on a popular gift at the moment. If your children are really close with the couple, try a customised photo and Spotify song encased in a glass stand. Your kids could pick out their favourite photo of the married couple and a song that reminds your children of the couple!
