Margaret was stolen from the CSPCA shelter.

Terrier missing from CSPCA

A dog that was stolen from a Cork animal shelter last week is still missing.

Latest reports from the Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA) state that 10 year old terrier Margaret has sadly still not been returned to the shelter.

Margaret was taken last Tuesday week along with 2 lurchers. The lurchers were later returned unhurt but very tired and hungry. All 3 dogs are microchipped. The theft took place at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 18 October.

The CSPCA is asking the public to remain vigilant and to contact the organisation or the gardaí with any information on Margaret’s whereabouts. A post on the organisation’s Facebook page on Tuesday read: “This day last week Margaret was stolen from us. Please continue to keep an eye out for her.”

A previous post thanked the public and the gardaí for their help in searching for the stolen dogs.

Anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of Margaret can call CSPCA on 021-4515534, or email info@cspca.ie.

Based in Mahon, the CSPCA is a non-profit organisation set up in 1870 to protect the animals of Cork.
