Celebrate Women’s Little Christmas to the sounds of Abba.

Gimme, gimme, gimme an ABBA tribute

Calling all dancing queens and super troupers, don’t let this event slip through your fingers.

An ABBA tribute band is set to bring all the classic hits to Cork for Women’s Little Christmas.

Fans of iconic group ABBA will be treated to a night of the band’s classic hits for Women’s Little Christmas. The band is set to perform at a special event in Cork city to mark the annual tradition.

Fans will gather at the Oliver Plunkett where they’ll be able to sing along to much-loved hits including ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘S.O.S’, ‘Fernando’ and more.

There will be prizes for best dressed on the night although dressing up is optional.

The show is fully seated with a limited number of pre-show VIP tickets which includes a canapes and prosecco reception. A live band will take to the stage after the ABBA show to ensure those who are out for Women’s Little Christmas can continue the celebrations.

The event has been organised by Starlight Entertainment and spokesperson Marguerite O’Connor said: “We are so delighted to bring this show to Cork city audiences and I know that everyone, especially ABBA fans, will have a great night as they sing along to all their favourite hits. We wanted to bring something fun to Cork for Women’s Little Christmas and treat all the women who maybe didn’t get a chance to relax and let their hair down over Christmas.”

The show takes place at The Oliver Plunkett on Saturday 7 January from 9-11pm with doors opening at 7.30pm. Food and drink available downstairs beforehand. Tickets are from €12 and are available on Eventbrite.
